All of the dishes are delicious as always with great & friendly service. Only negative is it being far from my house. :)
Great food and totally the feel of the Ajumma hole in the wall diners in Korea. I have lost count how many times I have been there and how often I've enjoyed their Beef rib and veg stew and side dishes. The hot broth is so so heart & soul warming is worth the embarrassment of knowing Korean to go.
It cute little mom and pop shop korean restaurant that has legit bone broth. They offer it instead of water in a thermos, and so you can bet that it's in all their soups including the nengmyun. It was actually refreshing to eat at a Korean place that doesn't have bibimbap and kimchi jjigae on the menu. They focus on potatoes and soups with bone broth, and all of that is clearly made with care. Portions were smaller and yes pricier, but I felt that the quality was there which I appreciate. Plus the husband and wife couple seem really kind and hardworking.
On the hunt for the best naengmyun in north Jersey and this one is a solid #1 at the moment. Came here due to the recommendation of a friend and it was all that was promised. A little family restaurant and to me the potato side tastes just like how "grandma" makes it. Meaning it has a very homemade taste and feel. Delicious! Looking back at the pictures posted here from years ago and they really reduced the size of the ban chan though from 8-9 down to 2. Bring those back! It's also a bit pricey but otherwise worth the drive over.
Homung Nangmyun is a must-visit if you're craving delicious, authentic Korean cold noodles. The Hwe naengmyun (same sauce as bibim naengmyun) is incredible--perfectly spicy, refreshing, and the dumplings are just as amazing. Portions are generous, leaving you feeling full and satisfied. The hot broth beverage served in a cup is such a comforting touch! Sometimes you have to wait a bit, and the service can feel a little rushed during busy times, but the food makes it all worth it. Definitely a spot to check out if you love naengmyun!
